The book and audiobook Toothbrushing with Sophia and Alice, is intended to make toothbrushing fun from a young age, whilst helping parents and carers initiate positive brushing habits with children, and overcome any existing brushing battles!

The intent of the book is for it to be a fun interactive tool that is easily accessible that can have a positive impact on brushing. This book is intented for children aged between 1 – 3.

The author Victoria Wilson is a Dental Therapist and was inspired by her own children Sophia and Alice.

Victoria Wilson Dental therapist has observed and understand the challenges around toothbrushing time.  After having her own children Sophia and Alice, she was inspired to write this little story to support others in the daily routine to support childrens oral health. 

The 2 main elements in the story include a song and a childrens teddy bear. The advantage of these being included in the book means these elements can be transferrable to emulating real life imaginative play, and song that children can further be relived in their own play time.

Incorporating this book into your practice with your patients could have a positive impact on their oral health whilst helping the parents.
